The Split Devil is a Secret Boss comprised of three enemies that are fought in the Battle Arena.
How to Summon[]
To unlock Split Devil you need to find the three NPCs that make up the team around the map. Loz is slightly east of the shipyard (it is recommended that you change camera view), Kadaj is near the obelisk in Kalm, and Yazoo is around the Farm (screenshots attached).
Go up to all three and click on them. They will turn to face you. When you do this for all three, they are unlocked as a battle in the Ningen Cup. Once you meet them in the cup, they will be available to fight through the Battle Organizers

Strategy[]
The Split Devil have high physical damage in addition to Dispel which nullifies most defensive buffs (Haste, Protect, Shell, Runic Shield). For this reason, a Freelancer is recommended due to his skill flexibility.
Dark Soul (0.9.7.3 Inferno)[]

Equipment: Excalibur II, Zodiac Escutcheon, Grand Helmet, Grand Armor, Speed Bracers, Greater Nectar x10
Spirit of Gaya: Adamant Stew + Spirit of Lowtown or Spiced Salad, Tome of the Breaker, Tournesol
Fight:
The fight itself is rather simple: focus Kadaj (the middle devil) with Deprotect and use Cure, Greater Nectars, Holy, and Mega Heal to keep your HP up. Once Kadaj is low enough, use Dark Power to finish him off; do not use Dark Power if you can't finish off Kadaj with it.
Once Kadaj goes down, the rest of the fight is trivial as you can now use Food and Runic Shield to sustain yourself. Runic Shield in particular is incredibly strong as you can easily reach +5000 damage thanks to Loz and Yazoo. You can focus them in any order, just keep the one you're focusing Deprotected and keep yourself buffed and healed.

Impenetrable (0.9.7.3 Inferno)[]
Hero: Melee Strength Freelancer. Skills: Cure, Chakra, Mass Cripple, Divine Shield.
Equipment: Storm Lance, Zodiac Escutcheon, Zodiac Helmet, Grand Armor, Speed Bracers, Demiga Materia.
Spirit of Gaya: Tome of the Breaker, Tournesol (optional), Spiced Salad or Spirit of Lowtown, Dispel Potion.
Fight:
Before the fight, come to Naga Island and attack the water elementals to build up Momentum stacks (6 stacks should be enough). When the fight is about to start, buff yourself with Divine Shield. As soon as the fight starts, cast Chakra and Mass Cripple (you will be stunned due to Flare, so you may need to use Spirit of Gaya's Break Stun if your health gets low). Follow up with Dispel Tonic, Demiga and Tome of the Breaker on Kadaj (the middle boss), and focus on killing him first to remove his Dispel. You should be able to sustain pretty well with Cure and Chakra.
Once Kadaj dies, you can buff yourself with Spirit of Lowtown / Spiced Salad and Runic Shield (if you have Tournesol). Then simply kill the remaining two bosses. Make sure to always maintain Momentum stacks on you and Mass Cripple on them for the technical damage bonus.
